We are now recruiting for a Global Marketing Communications Manager. This is role can be based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden but we will consider also applications from across different regions.
The main purpose of the opportunity can be defined as follows:
Accountable for leading the transformation towards a multichannel sales approach & marketing automation from a communications perspective.
Responsible for building a progressive, multichannel communication strategy to increase customer reach, interaction and engagement, together with a strong yearly communication plan for the designated business areas with digital marketing at its core.
Ensure consistency in approach, liaising with communication managers from corporate and other BAs, in order to develop the business through effective marketing communication, branding and PR activities – always keeping customer behaviours & experience top of mind.
Project management of global marketing communication campaigns in order to support business objectives and to strengthen the Mölnlycke and key brands.
Support local markets in implementing and following-up on communication projects. Also work as bouncing board for communication effectiveness and optimization together with digital strategist.


Key Accountabilities:
Drive successful transformation towards marketing automation, multichannel communications & lead generation from a communications perspective.
Lead on appropriate utilisation of SoMe channels & social listening to identify customer journey trends. Drive and facilitate the usage of digital assets and channels for external communication
Develop communication packages for defined target groups for products/wound types & portfolio solutions based on customer journey and customer behaviour insights
Ensure that communication objectives are met in close cooperation with Global Marketing Managers (GMMs) & Global Marketing Director (GMD).
Analyse the ROI of different media approaches together with other communication managers and share best practice across markets
Ensure that projects such as communication campaigns, launch packs and other communication activities from brief to delivery are in time, within budget with cross functional teams are correctly resourced.
Leadership and management of communication and media agencies in partnership with other communication managers
Align communication and deliverables together with the different regions. Support implementation of communication plan in relevant channels with colleagues in the marketing communications team.
Provide expertise on marketing communications within Global/ regional and local marketing.

Shared with the Global Marketing Manager/Global Marketing Director, Communications and Brand
Lead transformation to marketing automation
Development of brand strategy
Development of communication strategy with specific focus on digital marketing
Decision on communication concept and deliverables including channel selection
Control of defined budget


Competencies, Qualifications & Experience:
Outstanding marketing automation & digital marketing knowledge & experience of multi-channel communication and campaigns based on customer journeys
Skilled in social listening & other digital market insights gathering/big data channels
Marketing and Communications strategy expertise incl. change management experience
Excellent project management skills
Good communication skills in oral in written, with proven communication competence.
Understanding of life science business and how communication adds value to the outcome
Knowledge in branding and brand management
Ability to work under high pressure and within tight deadlines – and manage several projects at the same time
Strong team player with good networking skills
Performance-driven and goal-oriented with strong customer focus
Experience of content marketing is a plus
University degree in Communications, Marketing or equivalent
>7 years practical experience from marketing and communications preferably within the healthcare & digital marketing businesses
Experience with marketing automation & digital marketing, especially effective utilisation of SoMe channels
Experience with gathering customer insights through social listening & other digital media
People management skills
Experience with creative campaign deployment and product launches in an international company
Experience of working with communication and media agencies
Experience of developing marketing communications and related processes
Experience from managing project allocated resources,
High proficiency in English language, additional languages is a plus
Experience from a local market is a plus
