Global Medical Franchise Lead Biostimulators Body to Galderma

We are now looking for a Global Medical Franchise Lead, Biostimulators Body, to maintain and disseminate up-to-date knowledge on Galderma's portfolio. You report to the Head of Medical Affairs Strategy Aesthetics and will work together with other members of the Global Medical Affairs department as well as with Strategic Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Development and external industry experts. The position is located at our center of excellence for Aesthetics, in Uppsala, Sweden.

Responsibilities

The Global Medical Franchise Lead, Biostimulators Body, will serve as an internal scientific and medical expert to drive the Global Medical Affairs strategy for Biostimulators focusing on body indications. You will be the Medical Affairs lead-expert in the end to end product life cycle. As such, you are to support external and internal stakeholders, provide medical expertise and scientific engagement for external customers, and provide medical support to Global Head of Strategy in the development and review of strategic programs.

For a defined category of product, you are to proactively maintain up to date knowledge, as well as lead and support the development of medical affairs plan, including clinical studies plan and publication plan. In addition, you are to ensure that Galderma's training and educational materials for internal and external use are accurate, up to date, comprehensive and reflect the published data. You will also review any marketing materials and other Galderma activities that require review from a medical and scientific perspective.

You will proactively provide scientific/medical/strategic input and support into the development strategy as a part of R&D core team activities, the medical and marketing strategies/product positioning/ brand plans, as well as to medical affairs affiliates. Other tasks associated with the role are to:

Plan and organize non-branded medical education activities

Lead medical strategy for clinical research programs such as investigator-initiated trials and post-marketing studies

Act as representative for projects where expertise is needed, e.g. advisory boards, trainings, investigator meetings, manuscripts and abstracts

Contribute to the scientific program for Galderma meetings and congresses
*

Develop key medical messages and lexicon
*

Support cross functions in expertise review

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you have an MD or PhD in medicine, and likely have an expertise with biomaterials and medical devices or pharma. You have 3-5 years' experience of medical affairs, ideally gained in the medical aesthetic industry. In addition, you have experience in critically reviewing scientific articles and data and possess excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.


You are a team player with proven ability to work cross-functionally, with a strong track record of self leadership. You are driven, flexible, methodical, with the ability to structure work and manage multiple requests while maintaining timelines.
