Global Mobility Expert

The Global Mobility Expert is a key position in the Group Total Reward and Global Mobility Department that contributes to the further development of high quality and effective global mobility solutions and practices.


SKF Group Global Mobility includes short, medium and long-term assignments, virtual assignments, job rotation abroad, employees commuting abroad, the Global Graduate Program and some business travel.

What you can expect in this role
In this position you will act as a subject matter expert in Global Mobility and support the organization (HR, managers and employees) with advice and recommendations pre, during and post international and virtual assignments. You will ensure that the solutions offered are market competitive and aligned with both internal and external stakeholder interests, while guaranteeing that the processes and practices comply with local and international law, regulations and union agreements. Furthermore, you will:

• Have the responsibility to handle the contract process, from initiation to repatriation, for long-term assignees
• Act as the main contact for the assignee, HR and managers regarding intercultural moves, but also for international remote working and business travel compliance policies
• Act as contact person for external suppliers (e.g., insurance, pension, relocation, and tax)
• Work with the compensation processes for international assignees, e.g., salary review, short and long-term variable salary programs, in collaboration with the Total Reward Experts
• Participate in international and national global mobility networks and conferences to continuously develop the knowledge in the global mobility area

Requirements
• Experience from a similar position, working with global mobility in an international environment
• Experience in IT systems and HR-processes related to global mobility
• Academic degree within HR/Finance or Tax law or related field or equivalent working experience
• Good knowledge about international tax, social security, immigration and labor law
• Good communication skills, both written and verbally, in English
• Proficiency in other foreign languages is considered an asset, but not necessary

Personal profile
You will do well in this role if you are enthusiastic and structured, and you have a high level of integrity and professionalism and can work with little to no supervision, coping with tough deadlines. Furthermore, you are service minded and find your motivation and passion in networking with different stakeholders in a global environment. You possess strong interpersonal skills and can communicate effectively on different levels of the organization. Intercultural experience is considered an asset.


Additional information
Location: Any major SKF site in Europe.

This position will report to the Total Rewards and Global Mobility Manager.
