The mission of our Global Mobility Administration team is to ensure the successful movement of AstraZeneca employees and their families internationally. In this fast paced and exciting role, you will support the design and communication of our global mobility programme whilst handling the operational aspects including immigration, relocation, move administration, resolving any related issues and keep a good partnership with our vendors.
You will act as the point of contact for the business, Talent Acquisition and wider HR for questions on process and costs for cross-border moves. You will have the regional overview of delivery of relocation services and immigration support and ensure that we escalate issues in a timely manner and in accordance with policies and commitments. In order to ensure legal compliance with laws and regulations you keep up to date with legislative changes and take immediate actions to secure that our processes and systems are updated. With your flexible approach you easily adapt to new situations.
Main responsibilities:
* Develop and manage vendors, acting as first point of contact for exceptions. Regular calls and review with vendors for relocation, immigration, tax support and cultural training.
* Develop and deliver internal education to uplift knowledge and skills across HR Centres of Excellence and the business
* Lead various internal reviews or audits of data, processes and policies
* Ensure invoices are correct, paid on time and recharged in a timely manner
* Build strong working relationships with International Experience Partners, HR, Finance and vendors to ensure a clear operating model to support cross-border moves focused on outcomes, compliance and risk.
* Analyse and review special circumstances and determine how they might be handled
Essential for the role:
* Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence and maturity in handling difficult and sensitive situations in an appropriate manner
* Good project management skills with concern for impact and attention to detail and an ability to prioritise
* Experience of using technology to automate and enhance processes and experiences
* Excellent analytical thinking and numerical skills
* Team player, able to contribute to the motivation and development of others
* Experience of living and working abroad would be an advantage
