Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The department Global Mobility and Cross-border Compliance is responsible for managing all global assignments in the company and works globally and centrally with all expatriate related matters.
The Global Mobility department is working with continuous improvements of the global mobility policies and process at Scania, always having a costumer centric approach and trying to find compliant and good solutions for both our expatriates as well as our HR colleagues globally. Scania’s global mobility programme consists of many different country combinations, which entails a diverse mobility programme with high complexity. We are now looking to strengthen our team with a new Global Mobility Specialist. Your tasks
In this position you will be the driving force making Scania employees having an outstanding people experience when working on a short or long term Global Assignment. You will as well work with continuous improvements on an operational and strategic level. You will work to improve processes and establish global guidelines, and run/work with various mobility and tax compliance projects.
You will support the organisation and act as an advisor towards HR colleagues, line managers and employees in all areas related to global mobility. You will advise on issues related people experience, compliance, taxation, social security and immigration. You will monitor regulatory developments, identify compliance risks and implement solutions for mitigating these.
The responsibilities include calculations of cost projections, and creating compensation and benefit packages for our expatriates all over the world. You will manage day-to-day interactions with our mobility vendors to ensure outstanding experience for our expatriates, including initiating and monitoring vendor performance.
Your profile
A structured and positive team player with an interest in Global Mobility. You have a university degree probably within the fields of Law, Business Administration or similar. You also have several years of experience (5+) within the field of mobility and international tax and compliance.
You must possess strong confidence for putting compliance first, in parallel with an outstanding people experience , this includes a pragmatic approach for risk assessment balanced with being responsive to business needs. Ideally you also have knowledge of international compensation calculations (home country approach, hypo-tax, mobility allowances, etc.).
It is important that the right candidate for this position is self-motivated, driven, ambitious, responsible, and have high integrity. You aremethodical and detailed-oriented in nature and like new challenges. You have a solutions-focused mindset and must be action-oriented.
Excellent communication skills in English is required, and knowledge in other languages is beneficial. Experience from living and working abroad is an advantage. Excellent IT skills and proficiency using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
