In this exiting role as Global Network Optimization Planner you will interact with Customer Service, Integrated Supply Chain, Logistics, and Business Planning to establish the optimal balance between service and cost for the overall supply chain that aligns with the Business Line strategy. The role is giving both short term win suggestions to the business, as well as working strategically on the umbrella view, ensuring we are doing our outmost to be cost efficient and can serve our customers in the best possible way. Your manager and management is based in the Business Center in Gothenburg.
Main responsibilities
· Work within the Integrated Supply Chain to determine Variable Production Cost and Direct Selling Cost that help optimize the supply chain for the most efficient network design
· Responsible for developing and running the network optimization planning within Arkieva Supply Module
· Responsible for assisting the technology group on Long Term Planning and Asset strategy utilizing Arkieva Long Term Planning Module
· Determine the appropriate contingencies to properly mitigate risk within the overall supply chain that help to ensure supply reliability
· Cooperate with Logistics on OTS and ISC on OTIF to deliver service levels that match the requirements of the Business Line
· Develop and initiate changes to improve Key Processes
· Work together with Logistics Procurement on tender establishment to build lanes for Supply Reliability
· Drive balance of Service and Direct Selling Cost optimization through lane selection and efficient utilization of tenders
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline
· Solid understanding and a couple of years of experience of supply chain and business processes
· Highly proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Access; SharePoint)
· Very good English communication skills
· Demonstrable capability to analyze data (including mass cross-reference data validation, trending and forecasting)
Preferred:
· Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system), Business Warehouse (or equivalent data warehouse)
· APICS CPIM or CSCP
