If so then this is the position for you. The Global Online team is expanding and are looking for a Global Online Content Marketing Manager. In this role you will get the opportunity to work in a global branded consumer goods company and play an important role in the expansion of our online sales channels. About the position
The Global Online Content Marketing Manager will be part of the Global Online team that drives the development and maintenance of our Global Online presence to efficiently support our growth ambitions. Strong focus is on eCommerce in own and customer channels and to grow organically across our categories and markets.
As Global Online Content Marketing Manager you will be responsible for driving, developing, maintaining, analyzing and optimizing content mainly for Thule.com as well as marketing campaigns on the platform.
A vital part of the job will be to collaborate with business stakeholders within the company in product management and sales, and to manage your team of web designers and content creators. You will report directly to the Global Online Content Director and will actively contribute to the global marketing and activity plan. Your responsibilities will include:
Implement content strategies and tactics in our online channels
Managing campaigns and seasonal activities
From an editorial standpoint: planning and creating of content from a consumer perspective driven by content analysis and to optimize the path to conversion
Manage, editing and proofreading content
Project management and the management of priorities of multiple stakeholders
Ensure that your team of creators adhere to plans and deliver top level content
Your profile
We believe in order to be successful in this role you:
Have experience and proven success from managing and implementing content on a multi-lingual online site
Have an editorial mindset to create the content our audience is looking for and to optimize this for conversion
Have high SEO understanding
Are well-organized and structured and have a forward-leaning approach without losing sight of the overall business goals.
Strong leadership skills, professional efficiency, effective communication and ability to build a trust-based relationship
We believe you hold a Bachelor’s degree of marketing communications, project management within publishing, journalism or another relevant field. And with 7+ years of experience within this field you have an excellent understanding of content creation online, content analysis and editorial planning.
We expect that you have great written and verbal skills and are fluent in English. You are also a pragmatic person who is equally comfortable in rolling up the sleeves and doing things yourself as when presenting strategic plans to senior management. You need to be a self-motivator and driver with a "getting it done" mentality. To align with our culture you are used to an agile environment, experienced in project management and working in a global organization.
