As Global Operations Manager of Connected Services’ Applications, your mission is to improve and harmonize business operations through effective management of RACS Connected Services Program. You will lead and manage a multinational, cross-functional team of internal and external resources to make sure the Connected Services processes and applications are integrated in the overall ABB and RARO business & IS architecture.
This position reports to Head of Field service Ops & Training.
Your responsibilities
Governing the Connected Services Applications domain to provide transparency, facilitating prioritization and driving decisions with senior stakeholders. Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify the business requirements and the expected outcome including business case.
Collaborating with IT teams and suppliers to ensure the fulfilment of Service Level- and Operational Level Agreements.
Working in iterative processes with the Business to ensure data and information consistency.
Educating the business on how Connected Services technology can help the organization, understanding the principles behind the process to drive organizational buy-in.
Being responsible for IS solutions, IS Delivery, IS Standards & Compliance.
Defining and enhancing methodologies and practices for the Applications Services lifecycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement. Contributing to the definition of the global processes in collaboration with other businesses.
Acting as application owner, being accountable to the business for application overall security and integrity, accountable to comply with all internal and external rules and regulations related (e.g. internal SOD principle, external GDPR regulations as well as export and trade regulations, etc.).
Your background
Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 10+ years IT experience in developing, configuring, deploying and maintaining applications within the respective solution delivery area
Experience with managing or deploying IOT or Cloud Applications, a strong understanding of functional end-to-end processes
Proven performance as an IT leader in a complex, global organization with internal and external interfaces
A senior leader who has repeatedly implemented processes and tools
Significant experience successfully leading geographically dispersed and diverse teams
Business focus, strong analytical and problem solving skills, ability to quickly understand the real business requirements and map them to Connected Services landscape
Fluency in English
