Arbetsbeskrivning
It sure takes passion, commitment and expertise to be the leading supplier of equipment, tools, services, support and technical solutions for the mining and construction industry, and we aim for nothing less! By forming a new business area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we’re accelerating our offer within stone crushers and screening equipment even further. Are you eager to join a customer-centric business where inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation are cornerstones? Then we have a great opportunity for you!
For the upcoming division Stationary Crushing & Screening, part of the new Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we’re now looking for a supportive and cool-headed Global Order Desk Manager for our equipment business. Not only do we offer a global and multi-market environment, but you also get a great chance to contribute in building our new setup and establish interesting networks.
About the job
When joining us in this new position, you’re responsible for a newly formed team that coordinates our full range of equipment order operations – including capacity management, level load between different factories and transportation services – and you actively work to ensure a strong supply of our Crushing & Screening equipment. By administering an effective system, you make sure that we meet the high service needs of both our organization and our customers. You also take lead in the control of commercial impact of the complete range of activities from receiving, preparation and dispatching, all the way through to sourcing, purchasing and production. Naturally, this means close collaboration both internally and externally, and you always make sure to keep all our stakeholders in the loop.
An important part of your agenda is of course leading your team of six people based in Sweden, Finland and Slovakia, and you bring an inclusive, collaborative and calm approach as you coach and develop the team members. You’re both strategic and a hands-on doer, and you build up new processes, drive change initiatives, identify improvements and share best practices. You’re also part of the Planning & Logistics management team, where you’re expected to contribute in all of our areas of responsibilities.
This position is located at our headquarters in Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our production site located just across from the train station. Some travel to visit your team members is normally included in your job.
About you
We’re looking for a broad-minded and inspiring leader with at least five years’ experience from developing both teams and individuals. You’re skilled in setting structures, establishing efficient processes and driving change, and you easily navigate across various systems and digital tools. An academic degree in a relevant field – such as Logistics or Supply Chain – is required. Since we act on the global arena, you’re fluent in written and verbal English, while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.
You’re a positive team player and a committed leader, with a genuine passion for collaboration, communication and development – someone who easily builds trust and engagement across our function. Having high attention to details, as well as a structured and practical approach, you ensure balanced operations and you always think one step ahead to make sure we’re proactive and have a given plan.
