Job Description


Global Packaging Sector Manager plans, coordinates, and ensures growth of the global business and clients, competences, and offering development. The major focus is on the sales and client relations but also in the strategic planning & implementation, and competence coordination.
The person plays a key role in global co-operation development and supports all process industry division units globally. Her/His responsibilities are to establish and promote client relationships in many levels, promote AFRY sales activities and assist local units to develop the needed competences. The Global Packaging Sector Manager leads a virtual team including representatives from each local business units.
The location of the role would be in some of the existing Process Industries countries including Sweden, Finland, Norway, Brazil, Chile, US, Canada, Spain, Germany, Czech, Poland, China and Thailand.
As a Global Packaging Sector Manager you will coordinate and manage all sector specific sales, key account management and competence development activities. You will have possibility to work in global virtual teams including key account managers, sales teams, technology specialists, engineers and different type of project teams. In this position you will get insight on how AFRY’s global brand supports local presence and vice versa. You will bring a deep technical understanding covering the entire sector value chain, from raw materials to end user markets.


Qualifications


The person we are looking for:
is sales oriented, dynamic and client focused
is a team player with a service minded approach and global way of thinking
has excellent technical understanding of the fibre-based packaging sector, including board materials (containerboards, carton boards and packaging papers) and fibre raw materials (recovered fibre and pulp)
has experience and know-how in packaging converting industries (fibre- or plastic-base packaging) would be regarded as an advantage
has more than 10-years’ experience in the packaging industry
is fluent in English, other languages are regarded as benefit

In addition, we appreciate innovative and development-focused mindset with passion to innovate and reinvent things. Experience in project implementation, especially in the area of greenfield expansion, conversion or rebuild projects, will be valued assets.
