For Sandvik Coromant and our Tools Inventory and Supply Planning, we’re looking for a business-minded, driven and networking manager – someone who shares our passion for development and wants to make an impact by reshaping the way we plan our operations.
Your mission
In this position, you’re overall responsible for the planning and inventory control of the Sandvik Coromant Tools supply and our distribution centers worldwide. You organize, lead and prioritize our work to reach targets, service levels and net working capital, and you actively participate in our S&OP process. By gathering valuable insights and strategically evaluate our processes and various scenarios, you support us in making informed and timely decisions and being more effective from a demand, planning, production, delivery and economic point of view. You also explore what networks and digital ways we need to implement to take one step further in our next generation planning journey. The aim is clear – we’re transforming our entire planning and supply platform to meet the needs of our customers.
In close cooperation with the Tools Production Management team and our production organization, as well as with our stakeholders and the wider business, you identify opportunities, synergies, risks and gaps, and you optimize our structure and ways of working. You mentor us in how to implement and adapt to change and you support and develop your team of four direct reports. You’re also a central player in our Sandvik Coromant Global Planning Management team.
The location for this position is Sandviken, and travel is a natural part of your job.
Your profile
You have both experience and a strong understanding of planning, inventory and supply, and you have previously held leading positions with responsibility for people and performance management. We consider knowledge of the full planning and supply process as highly beneficial, and you’re eager to exceed the expectations of our customers. You also understand the benefits of digitalization and new technology. We see it as a plus if you also have a relevant degree within the area of logistics. As we’re a global business, you must be fluent in English.
You enjoy taking the lead in creating something new and you use your convincing communication skills to leave a positive impact. You’re also very clear with your expectations and you build a team culture that sets ambitious targets and aim for great results. Collaboration is in the core of your character, and your structured, inspiring and genuine ways are a winning combination as you interact and build trust among our stakeholders.
Our culture
Innovation is in our DNA and we are proud to shape the future of manufacturing in close collaboration with our customers and partners.
