Global Pricing Analyst is part of a specialized team building the Pricing capability in the Thermo Fisher Scientific Immunodiagnostics Division. The Pricing team defines sustainable pricing strategies, processes, and tools, and oversees analyses, tools deployment, and training in order to build best-in-class Pricing capabilities across the global Immunodiagnostics business. The key focus of the role as an analyst is to develop and subsequently be responsible for the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) software which is the basis for the pricing strategy in the commercial organisation.
A day in the Life:
Track the utilisation of the CPQ tool within the commercial organisations and recommend approaches for increasing acceptance.
Make sure QA performs user acceptance testing.
Make sure ETO enables the synchronization of products from CPQ to the Opportunity in Salesforce
Communication of CPQ features, benefits, and changes to users and stakeholders of CPQ.
Responsible for the International quotation excel tool. Development and Governance. Support the commercial organization.
Participate in the pricing process where the optimal list price levels and lowest accepted price level per customer are defined.
Work with Portfolio Lifecycle Management to ensure product launches and discontinuations are reflected in the Global List price structure in a timely and functional manner and communicate it appropriately.
Create communication material that explains the pricing groups/e-trainings.
Set the relevant country discount curve and implement it in CPQ.
Provide feedback and develop ideas for further development and support of the pricing strategy.
Continuously add new products and remove discontinued products from the system.
Provide day-to-day business user support for the CPQ system including system access and user profile rights.
Support users to build quotes and get them through the approval process.
Have super user meetings and capture feedback.
Run training programs for new and existing users.
Develop and maintain CPQ documentation including requirement documents, user stories, workflow, test scenarios, training material, and other documents related to the tool.
Work on enhancements, ensuring application functionality and further development with new application releases including usability improvements.

Keys to Success:
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited higher learning institution (preferred area of study: Business, Mathematics, Data Science) is desirable
Experience
Solid understanding and use of CPQ and SAP
Experience in life science pricing is preferable
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to positively contribute to the team
Able to communicate fluently in spoken and written English
Proficiency in and knowledge of Microsoft Office software including excel
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
