Global Process Developer - Quality

Sandvik Mining and Construction (SMC) is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a world-leading supplier of equipment and complete solutions for the mining and construction industries, with machines, hard metal tools, service and technical solutions for the extraction and crushing of rock and minerals.The SMC Quality Process covers all quality management activities in all product lines within the global SMC organization, starting with R&D/E and ending with Aftermarket.We are now looking for a Global Process Developer to be located, preferably, in Sandviken.The scope of the position is to further develop the quality program and processes within SMC's global organization to ensure that SMC delivers a consistent and reliable quality level in the complete customer offer.This role is new and will be part of the newly created corporate quality function. Key performance areas As Global Process Developer you will further develop and implement the SMC quality process.You will also analyze, develop and implement support processes and ways of working based on product line needs.The role also includes developing and implementing tools to support the SMC quality process.Priorities for the start-up of this role according to the communicated strategy are: -Quality management on site level: i.e., standardized concepts and ways of working across all manufacturing and assembly sites within SMC.Priority will be on final inspection and testing -Further development of quality awareness and understanding of Sandvik quality culture; applies to all of SMC.Priority will be on development of strategy for awareness and competence development As Global Process Developer you will report to the SMC Quality Director.Some travelling will be necessary.Your profile The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and at least five years experience from a similar position.Experience of work in a global environment and matrix organizations is highly valued, as well as experience in Six Sigma or another problem solving methodology.You have excellent skills in communication and process development and the capacity to run and lead a change process.As a person you are organized, flexible, a strong ambassador, and you enjoy achieving your goals through networking.You have a strong instinct for cultural differences - in other words, a talent for diplomacy.Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is important, as English is the corporate language of the Sandvik Group.
