Global Process Developer - Quality

The SMC Quality Process covers all quality management activities in all product lines within the global SMC organization, starting with R&D/E and ending with Aftermarket. We are now looking for a Global Process Developer, to be located preferably in Sandviken.The scope of the position is to further develop the quality program and processes within SMC?s global organization to ensure that SMC delivers a consistent and reliable quality level in the complete customer offer. This role is new and will be part of the newly created corporate quality function.The role reports to SMC Quality Director. Key performance areas As Global Process Developer you will further develop and implement the SMC quality process.You will also analyze, develop and implement support processes and ways of working based on product line needs.The role also includes developing and implementing tools to support the SMC quality process.Priorities for the start-up of this role according to the communicated strategy: - Product transfers; further develop quality assurance in product transfer projects - Feedback process; develop and implement processes and tools for management of non-conformances and commissioning results.- Quality in aftermarket; assess current state and future state, develop action plan and implement identified improvements.Your profile The ideal candidate has an engineering degree and at least five years experience from a similar position.Experience in Six Sigma or other problem solving methodology is a merit.Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is important, as English is the corporate language of the Sandvik Group.You have excellent skills in communication and process development and you have the capacity to run and lead a change process.You are organized, flexible and enjoy achieving your goals through networking.You have a strong instinct for cultural differences; in other words, a talent for diplomacy.Experience of work in a global environment and matrix organizations is highly valued.Some business travel will be necessary.
