The scope of this new position is to implement and further develop SMC?s global process for warranty management.The main focus is to ensure that SMC services customers in the best possible way, but also to make the process valuable for the SMC organization.The warranty management organization consists primarily of warranty handlers within both the product line- and the regional sales organizations but will be coordinated by this function.The position is a part of SMC?s corporate Quality department and reports to the Quality Director Key performance areas In this position you will be responsible for: - Implementing and further developing SMC s global process for warranty management - Securing a feedback chain from customer to the source of the fault and back to the customer - Securing feedback to product management and information to new product development and continual product improvements - Implementing and initiating further development of IT-tools to support warranty management - Ensuring that a reporting system is established to monitor all warranty cases and that corrective actions are initiated and finalized - Leading and coordinating the SMC network for warranty handlers Your profile The ideal candidate has an engineering degree.Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is important, as English is the corporate language of the Sandvik Group.You have excellent skills in communication and process developing and you have the capacity to run and lead a change process.You are organized, flexible and enjoy achieving your goals through networking.You have a strong instinct for cultural differences, in other words, a talent for diplomacy.Experience of work in a global environment is highly valued.Some business travel will be necessary in the role of Global Process Owner.
