About the job
Here, you’re responsible for proactively driving process development and standardization within our financial processes. You ensure that our processes are compliant with IFRS, local legislation and our own processes and regulations in the finance area, with the aim to give fast, automatic and to-the-point business performance analysis of past, present and future trends, risks and opportunities. In our ERP system development project, you’re our Business Process Expert for production controlling and financial control where you have the overview and knowledge on how our business processes are to be setup in SAP. You also drive finance competence development through setting guidelines and trainings in collaboration with key stakeholders and finance teams. To ensure that we always deliver high quality under timely manners you ensure completeness and correctness and provide support to financial rules and regulations.


You also provide expertise and advice to managers, helping them develop budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities. To understand and support how to best develop our processes to fit the needs, you’re a member of – and have a strong collaboration with – the finance teams within Rock Tools.


The location for this position is Sandviken and some international travel is included in your job.


Your background and personality
We believe that you have a university degree or other relevant finance specialization. Several years’ experience in financial controlling, accounting or business control is beneficial, as is leadership experience either from managing teams or projects. Previous work from international corporates and intercultural work is also a plus and we also consider knowledge in ERP systems and tools like BPC, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Power BI and SharePoint as a valuable asset. Acting in a truly global environment calls for excellent communication skills in English.


You have solid analytical skills, are highly structured and strive to base all recommendations on facts and figures. With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you find ways to motivate others and drive change – always aiming to establish a good team spirit and work environment. You also show a strong ethical compass that’s helping you guide the organization with high confidence and challenge us when necessary.
