The Power Grids Grid Integration (PGGI) business unit supplies stations, systems solutions and service for transmission and distribution facilities. Customers are power companies, industry and other companies that need to be connected to power networks. The market is driven by the need to create stable power networks and by environment reasons with the aim of increasing the use of renewable energy. Our environment offer also includes connecting ships to power networks to replace diesel operation in ports. We design and build indoor and outdoor stations that are both reliable and dependable.
In this role you will contribute to the definition of the strategy for HVDC. Serves as the key partner for the HVDC GPG Manager in determining strategy for area of responsibility and developing a global business model, aligning with wider strategy, implementing, and making adjustments in implementation as needed. Maintains constant contact with relevant other managers and Controllers regarding financial, market and customer situation and outlook.
Your responsibilities
Translates strategy into business plans and establishes measurable targets. Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for HVDC and serves as the interface to BU Controller, PG Global Finance functions and countries. Evaluates financial implications of various strategic decisions, builds scenarios and recommends actions.
Monitors progress achieved and provides insight and analysis to support operational decision-making. Identifies issues and advises management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve. Drives appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency. Manages and closely monitors the cash flow and takes action to improve Net Working Capital.
Assesses business risk exposure and defines risk mitigation strategies to reduce impact on business performance. Ensures risk management processes are consistently implemented in own area of responsibility. Identifies and communicates commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
Ensures transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Defines and implements internal controls regarding financial and non-financial operations. Ensures compliance with corporate and country standards, regulations, and guidelines. Supports internal and external audits. Signs off Assurance letter for the area of responsibility.
Ensures that HVDC Controlling community is organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guides, motivates and develops direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Leads, provides guidance and facilitates best practice sharing between Local Controllers within HVDC to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices. Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant BU/Country Controllers, Finance Group functions and other internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility.

Your background
You hold bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent with Finance specialization.
You have a 10 years’ experience as Global/Regional CFO in multi-cultural environment.
Proven leadership skills cross-countries.
Experience of Change Management.
Used to handle many tasks simultaneously and to work structured and methodically.
On a personal level, you are a reliable team player with an independent and result oriented working style, as well as strong communicative and collaborative skills.
It is important that you also have a strategic sense in work.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
