Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our GEHC Life Sciences team as a Global Product Manager for UNICORN software products. The role responsibilities ranges from increasing profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. The UNICORN software is the control and evaluation software for the ÄKTA lab and process equipment and bioreactors (Wave). Our products serves customers within life sciences research and biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

Essential Responsibilities
Our software solution is an important growth area with several ongoing product extensions in development. You should have a strong ability to influence others, engage engineers, and drive towards business and technical decisions. PM's must possess business acumen as well as technical knowledge. Sales and/or marketing experience of software products is a merit. You will build products and solutions from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and sales. You should have a big-picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. You will spend time with customers to understand their issues, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

Qualifications/Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Life Sciences/Biotechnology & MBA or related field
-Proven experience in software development and/or marketing and sales of software products.
-Experience of customer/market focused activities.
-Leadership experience
-Good interpersonal and communication skills, plus experience of using these skills to participate in and influence cross-functional teams.

Desired Characteristics Knowledge of software development and methodology such as Fastworks, Agile, lean etc
Experience from a Life Sciences based business
Awareness of GEHC product portfolio that serves this market.
