Global Product Manager

This role is for someone who excels at driving meaningful results through proactive collaboration. There will be heavy cross-functional teamwork with Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and other global teams within the organization as well as our distributors and end users. The position will also engage in identifying any potential acquisition candidates as well as implementing any integration activities to deliver synergy targets.

- Work directly with key stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and customers, to accelerate market participation and grow the product portfolio
- Own the product roadmap strategy including development, end of life, and rationalization decisions to optimize business efficiency, revenue, and profit
- Build the business case for new products and lead development of new products together with engineering, ensuring customer requirements (standards, features, etc.), competitive landscape and costs are aligned
- Develop and execute pricing and product positioning strategy to maximize market participation and profitability
- Engage in business development activities with the sales channel and customers and identify opportunities for channel development
- Lead product promotion efforts to effectively communicate the value proposition and gain brand equity
- Identify and help integrate any potential acquisition targets or partnerships to grow the business and deliver synergy targets
- Ensure an acceptable level of product quality and address customer issues as appropriate
- Interact with customers and end users on a regular basis to gain feedback and analyze the competitive landscape
- Support the commercial organization on technical questions and complex opportunities requiring in-depth product knowledge


Kompetensprofil
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial product management, business development, sales, marketing or technical role preferred
- Strong technical acumen and experience driving a growth strategy
- Ability to be proactive, manage projects from start to finish, identify problems, find solutions and drive results
- Collaborative and able to work efficiently independently and in a team environment

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Business or related field, or equivalent experience. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred but not required.

Office may be located in a two-story office building. May require long periods of sitting, telephone work and/or computer work, as well as interaction with other people. Normal office conditions include walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, lifting, driving and/or traveling

Position will be based in Växjö, Sweden. The position will require travels to different sites in Europe and to the US, in order to support execution of responsibilities.
