General
You will in this position be a part of the Repair Parts and Options team within Volvo Construction Equipment, Customer Solutions, which is responsible for the commercial drive of our driveline parts and options offerings in the aftermarket, ensuring our profitability, availability and penetration targets are met. The diverse team, which currently consists of ten persons, is responsible for product strategies and planning, pricing marketing activities and to manage the maintenance of our total parts product portfolio. Our offers shall enhance the total experience of owning and operating Volvo construction equipment. You will be fully responsible for one or several product portfolios out of the repair parts product range.

We seek a talented person with excellent networking skills, technical knowledge, and commercial mindset with the ability to think strategically combined with a strong natural driving force and an interest for interacting with people in different positions from different cultures.

Main Responsibilities
- Define and drive the Driveline and SW/electronics commodity strategy that support the overall Customer Solution revenue and profitability targets.
- Manage the current commercial offer for the product portfolios to maximize volumes and profitability.
- Drive execution of activities that ensure success for relevant parts of SW/Electronics portfolio.
- Set product development scope in machine projects in order to meet market demands and increase parts revenues and profits
- Establish a Cross Functional Team for SW/Electronics.
- Set the aftermarket requirements into projects for above mentioned portfolios.
- Decide and execute market activities, training and roll out plans together with S&M Regions.
- Manage and develop the maintenance, operational as well as the strategic aspects of the product portfolios.
- Manage the commercial offer for the product portfolios to maximize volumes and profitability.
- Address and follow-up the stakeholder requirements within projects.
- Manage and execute small projects.
- Ability to travel occasionally.

Competences
- Relevant degree in engineering and/or business or comparable experience.
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to think strategically.
- Technical knowledge of Embedded real time SW/Diagnostics/PDM systems/ Bus communication i.e. CAN/LIN/Electrical schematics is a must
- Experienced and with a good understanding of the interaction between HW and SW in embedded systems.is a must
- Excellent communication skills paired with a holistic view.
- Analytic and methodological work approach in order to set right priorities.
- Strong drive combined with excellent social and networking skills.
- Customer focused and good analytical skills to understand the true need of customers.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time and prioritize work load.
- Proficiency in English written and spoken is required, other languages are qualifying.
- Good written, oral and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
- Project management experience is a merit.
- Product management experience is preferred.
- Technical understanding of construction equipment machinery/vehicle industry is a preferred asset.
