Mission:
We are looking for a strategic oriented, motivated and result oriented person for the Global Product Manager position at the marketing department within the Rock Drilling Tools division.
Your main responsibility will be to develop and implement our multi brand strategy including market segmentation, planning of the product portfolio; both short and long term, prioritizing development, sales organization and proper branding.
A large part of your work will be also to develop the business with regards to increase the sales and maintain the product portfolio within the product line. You will work with our sales companies around the world to establish, plan and carry out marketing activities. An important part of your work is to establish product strategies which will serve as a base for our product development and future product portfolio. You will lead an organization of 4 people responsible for sales support, training and technical service to our sales companies and customers.
As Global Product Manager you will report to the Product Line Manager for Tophammer equipment.
Job description:
- Lead and develop the Handheld Marketing team at the Product Company to exceed customer satisfaction.
- Identify, develop and implement marketing strategies and provide continuous marketing support to the Customer Centers.
- Make sure that the divisional targets in terms of sales, consolidated profitability, positioning, market shares and customers definition of value are continuously met.
- Analyze business developments, monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Support Atlas Copco Customer Centers in major tenders, product application and in the provision of training in all aspects of the product.
- Acts as Product 'Champion' liaising with Atlas Copco Sales Companies and the Secoroc Product Companies which includes rock drilling tools, pneumatic rock drills and the implementation of our second brand approach.
Experience requirements:
We are looking for a person with the following profile;
- Experience of rock drilling and good product knowledge from mining and construction applications.
- Experience of international rock drilling business.
- Good knowledge of the English language (verbally and in writing), knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Power of initiative and a strong driving force.
Personality requirements:
- Strong communication skills.
- Customer oriented attitude and long term sustainable oriented.
- Energetic and result oriented and should act strategically.
- Willingness to travel on a frequent basis.

Additional information:
You will be located at the Divisions head office in Fagersta, Sweden.
In case the candidate comes from outside Sweden this position will be a Local Plus contract.
