In Volvo Penta you will belong to the Product Management team organized within Parts Sales. Parts Sales is the central Service Market function, bridging Product Development to Market Unit functions. We work integrated to Volvo Pentas Business Units (Marine and Industrial) to develop and drive sales of parts and accessories.
Our full team today consist of 25 people, 35% women and 65% men. Our team are having a cultural heritage from 7 countries and are well balanced in the mix of people “early” and “well into” their career. Our engagement index is 88 – among the highest in Volvo Penta. We truly experience that diversity matters!
We believe the idle candidates for this job will have a skill profile combining business acumen with an already gained insight of electromobility. Experience of Service Market is beneficial, but most important are your drive and will to impact.


Responsibilities:
On your desk:
Overall responsible for product management of Electromobility related Service Market offer
Adapt the product offer during its life cycle, through customer reviews, competitor benchmark and cooperation in Volvo Group
Initiate and drive remanufacturing projects together with remanufacturing product manager
Coordinate with Product Planning the assortment development plans to support business objectives and develop roadmaps for the service market of electromobility
Take part in business development projects and contribute in creating new business models
Follow up sales and profitability, analyze deviations, suggest activities, and consolidate global business performance
Take part in pricing management to optimize sales/gross profit and develop a competitive offer
Be part of sales activities together with business units and market units
Support business units with commercial product knowledge
Initiate and contribute to Marketing plan and product information material

Qualifications:
University degree in Engineering or equivalent
Business-minded with a preferable already gained experiences of Service Market
Genuine interest in working with people from different cultures and background to achieve a positive and creative atmosphere
Team player used to act in a matrix organization and translate business objectives into actions
Be able to structure the workload, communicate information and follow up on agreement
Advanced in Microsoft applications
Fluent in English, both orally and written, and preferably Swedish.
