Global Product Manager for newly launched Flagsh

Role Summary/Purpose:

In Q4 2014 GE Healthcare launched an exclusive platform, the AmershamTM WB system to the Life Science Market targeting the Western Blot workflow, with unique properties offering a fully integrated workflow and greatly improved reproducibility and data quality, to overcome typical drawbacks with existing solutions on the market.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Global Product Manager role spans many different activities from strategic to tactical, serves as an inter-disciplinary role between engineering-oriented teams and commercially oriented teams, and is responsible for planning, forecasting and marketing a product/service at all stages of the lifecycle.The position offers great visibility and for the right candidate great career opportunities.

The candidate has a background from Life Science, Biotech and/or Pharma Industry. He or she has to have great sense of urgency, having personal drive, ambition and commitment to drive actions and operational follow-up. Strong business sense and an interest in the commercial aspects of a company are essential components to be successful in this role. The applicant should be structured, driving and have ability to prioritize in a complex environment in combination with a positive and team oriented attitude. Sales or marketing experience will be highly valued.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related field
3+ years' experience in product marketing, product development, or related field
Excellent oral and written communications skills in Swedish and English
Strong analytical and process skills
Strong project management skills
Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
Team oriented ? ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
EU work permit

Desired Characteristics:

MSc or Master's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or other related field
5+ years' experience in product marketing, product development or related field
