Global Product Manager - High Temperature

The Department for Marketing Distribution Products, within Product Area (PA) Tube and Business Area (BA) Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT), is responsible for managing and developing the offering for the products included in the portfolio. We are also responsible for providing support in the offering process, all in accordance with strategy and targets set by the Business Unit (BU) Core & Standard. We are now looking for a Global Product Manager for High Temperature products for a role that is both strategic and operational with significant influence on future development for this area.

Job Summary
As Global Product Manager you are responsible for the product portfolio, including product, price and promotion, all from a global perspective. You develop and execute a global strategy for the products, in line with PA Tube's strategic direction, and manage the global standardization of our High Temperature product offering and way of working. You also analyze and develop the long-term strategy and handle the breakdown of financial targets into product-specific targets. With respect to our standard product offerings and sales tools, you are responsible for design, structure, development and implementation, as well as for technical support. Furthermore, you handle new business opportunities and develop new processes for both applications and products. You monitor the competitive situation for this product area and are an active member of the portfolio team, in order to ensure flexibility and support a high level of service.

This position involves extensive traveling.

Your profile
You have a relevant university degree, or solid knowledge obtained through work experience, and a proven track record from a relevant industry. You also have leadership experience and three to five years' experience in a sales management position at an international company. Previous experience in leading global teams is an advantage. With a strong technical background and good insight and understanding of Sandvik's business, you are well prepared for this role. You have knowledge in Sales & Marketing strategies, models and channels and also in pricing models and financial analysis. Your skills in English are excellent, both in writing and speaking, and skills in Swedish are advantageous.
