At Epiroc you will be an important team player in a global diverse team working cross functional and cross divisional. You will be driving your product strategies through interaction with colleagues all over the world. This is a role for someone that would like to influence and leave a clear legacy of making mining and construction machines and operations safer. You will combine the safety solutions with other new technologies, such as electrification of equipment to reduce environmental impact of mining and construction operations and increase sustainability in the industry.

In the role you take full ownership of your product which means you have flexible work times in an office with close to nature, golf courses training facilities and city.


Your mission
A very important requirement from our customers are to find new innovative ways to reduce live work. This means situations where actual live work by people on the machines can be removed or reduced to increased safety and productivity. In your role you will take global product ownership, develop product strategies, and be the leader for product and business development launching products to the global market focusing on Live Work Elimination (LWE) for both surface and underground equipment while being supported by your closest Product Manager colleagues and other functions with many years of experience and variety of competencies. One example could be to reduce live work by developing collision avoidance systems (CAS) on our machines or remove live work by atomizing swap of batteries for battery equipped vehicles (BEV).

Additional work tasks can as well be other technology related products such as Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) and SMART components even if this is not the main focus for the role.


Your profile
We are looking for a candidate that have interest in products that are saving life’s to make mining and construction operations a better place.

You are a candidate with a can-do attitude, someone that can create and drive innovative activities proactively in a structured way. A good candidate would have technical competencies that is combined with business – marketing oriented competencies. Previous experience from Epiroc Customer Centers or other experience from the heavy equipment industry is a plus.

Degree on university level in business or engineering or other relevant background and experience is required. Good command of English along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Location and travel
You will be working for the Parts & Services division (PSD) based in Örebro, Sweden. With the right candidate the position is flexible and can be based in other countries preferable in our main hubs Örebro, Sweden; Nanjing, China; or Garland; USA. Occasional travel is required.
