Filler metals is the original product area within ESAB as well as the area that has built ESAB to be the large global company it is today. Filler metals remain as the main revenue and profit driver within ESAB. The product management organization within filler metals is split into three teams of which solid wires is one. The solid wire group is a team of five and are managing wire types from standard carbon steels to complex stainless and nickel alloys as well as aluminum.

The Global Product Manager non & Low Alloyed Solid Wires (the "Manager") has the ownership of the global non & low alloyed SW product portfolio. The ownership means assuring global product range's competitiveness, quality and availability to meet company business results expectations, including balancing regional interests vs. ESAB in total. The Manager will have the global commercial and technical responsibility of the product area and is thereby essential for growth and profitability of product portfolio. This includes capturing market insight, managing new product development projects from idea to launch as well as maintaining and managing the existing product range.

The Manager will be a part of the Solid Wire product management team and will have interfaces to multiple functions such as R&D, Operations, Procurement, Quality, Finance and Sales and external key customers. The Manager will be in regular contact with customers and associates across all continents.

Qualifications

*Commercial and/or Technical education with a university degree
*Solid understanding of business drivers across sales, marketing, product development and supply chain
*3-5 years' experience of achieving positive business results and managing a portfolio of products
*High ability to manage projects and drive results by getting commitments from the numerous interaction points is desirable
*Prior experience within the welding industry
*Solid English skills are required to be able to communicate both verbally and in writing.

The position is placed in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional traveling is required.
