Global Product Manager - Stainless Bar

Operations are divided into four product areas: Tube, Strip, Wire and Heating Technology - and Primary Products.

Our Marketing & Sales department is now looking for a Global Product Manager - Stainless Bar, to be located in Sandviken, who will work on generating growth for Sandvik's strategic products.

Key performance areas
The main areas of responsibility for Stainless Bar's GPM are:
- Global Product Plan and Sales and Marketing Plan for Stainless Bar
- Coordinating new business opportunities and new product development activities
- Profitability management, pricing strategies and pricing follow-up
- Profit and loss responsibility for the product

International travel, up to 40-55 days per year, is included in this role.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in Engineering or Business and Finance, and at least five years' experience in a position with responsibilities in the areas of business development or marketing and sales. Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are a prerequisite for the role, as is good knowledge of MS Office. Experience in engineering and/or metallurgy is an advantage.

You are driven and able to see the big picture, and like having external contacts and doing business. But while you gladly inspire others, you understand that you can't do everything yourself, but must cooperate with colleagues.
