Global Product Manager to Cochlear

Cochlear BAS is looking for a Product Manager to join the marketing department where your main role will be: [ To manage products and services necessary to meet the needs of Cochlear BAS customers as well as the commercial and strategic needs of the organization.To develop and implement product and market strategies to effectively drive global sales and revenues in the area of sound processors.Support and manage existing products and services throughout their complete product lifecycle.[ Your main responsibilities will be to: Manage and support existing Baha sound processors, accessories and services throughout their life cycle Monitor legacy products to identify, champion and manage new product opportunities and product improvements, proposing new sustaining engineering projects where necessary Develop, update and champion the implementation of system lifecycle plans (including upgrade and obsolescence) Monitor and analyze the competitive environment and products and support the organization with competitive intelligence Liaise with Regions & D&D teams to identify and analyze customer needs as input to product development projects Represent product management and provide product expertise and support at product launches, conferences, seminars and other industry events in collaboration with the regions Support regions with product related enquiries and provide frequent product updates Provide general support to meet the objectives of the product management team and marketing departments [ Key competencies: University degree equivalent to Master of Science in engineering or marketing Demonstrated 3-5 years work experience within product management or similar Experience from working in a global role is an advantage Experience from medical devices, pharmaceuticals or acoustics is an advantage High level written and oral communication in English is required Excellent presentation skills in English Ability to work in a multi-cultural, dynamic, challenging environment and to operate independently [ We are looking for a team player who enjoys creating results in close collaboration with others.You are organized and driven by results that meet the requirements of our key target audiences.You are able to work within stressful environments and multiple projects yet remain calm and able to deliver.You are flexible and customer service oriented.
