Husqvarna Construction Equipment is investing continuously in developing and improving our product offering. Our market share is steadily growing and there is great potential for increased sales and profit in this business area.
To continue the focus on growth there is a need to increase our effort in Product management and we are therefore looking for a Global Product Manager.
This position is based at our Global Headquarter in Jonsered, just outside of Gothenburg.
Job Description
As a Global Product Manager you will be business responsible for a specific product portfolio throughout the whole product life cycle, i.e. market need, customer requirements, business case analysis, product development projects, launch activities and continued support to sales companies.
In this position you are responsible for the strategy in your area which means that you actively monitor the market to quickly identify new trends in customer behavior and preferences, competitor activity, legislation, etc. Based on this input you will create road maps, generation plans and make new product proposals.
The Global Product Manager will create and evaluate business cases as base for prioritization of investments in product development to ensure that the product range is optimized technically as well as commercially also in the future. As a Global Product Manager you have the global responsibility for the product range margins and should ensure that all products are in line with the brand's position, quality and design guidelines. You will have responsible for your own budget and cost center.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science/Business degree and/or Master of Science in Engineering/Business analytic or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience working with similar responsibilities, experience and knowledge of mechanical components and electronics is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, both written and oral.
• Additional languages are an advantage.
