ESAB Gothenburg is the global center of excellence for R&D with appr. 200 employees which covers most functions as R&D, Sales, Strategy, and support functions. We are located on Lindholmen Gothenburg.
We offer you an exciting opportunity where you get to further develop your skills and be responsible for the product portfolio for Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) in an international environment.
Responsibilities
As a product manager you will ensure that the product and application portfolio is relevant, competitive, and cost-effective, and that it reaches the market in the most efficient channels, all in line with the overall corporate strategy. You will have global commercial and technical responsibility for the product area SAW. You are updated on market development and participate in events and seminars.
Main tasks:
Pursue and maintain the products to meet market demands
Support technical development to meet market requirements
Improve profitability by streamlining processes to optimizing costs
Develop product plans and launch strategies
Work closely with R&D as well as other technical disciplines

Your profile
You have experience from working both in a technical and commercial oriented position. You work in a structured manner and hold analytical skills. You enjoy supporting your colleagues, sales organization and customers.
Broad technical competence and experience
Experience from automation and / or welding is an asset
Experience from working with product quality
Used to working in a global environment
Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written
