The central marketing team holds a.o. three marketing programme teams and we are now recruiting for experienced marketers to join these programme teams. . The role of the teams is to work with sales regions, Product Business Groups, and teams across other disciplines to ensure that marketing activities across the company are aligned - with a clear goal to maximise product business performance. . They will be responsible within the global sales and marketing organisation to ensure that global product business performance targets are met, in line with agreed Product Business Plans. . The programme teams will build a strong virtual marketing network across all levels of the company. Each global product marketing manager will take responsibility for a defined part of the portfolio within their respective programme teams. Their day-to-day responsibilities will include tasks such as : - The definition and communication of specific 4-P marketing propositions, combining product, content and applications. - Be able to translate and articulate market requirements easily to the product and applications development teams and external third parties. - Working with product planning and management to manage 4-P product business plans and providing marketing input during the product planning phases - Once products are "on sale" , managing product business performance and identifying necessary corrective action plans to address under-performance. - Participating as an expert marketing resource within product and application development projects and managing the marketing business relationships with appropriate third party partner companies. - There will be a requirementd to travel frequently in support of regional and local marketing and sales teams. Qualifications: . Must have at least five years direct experience in a related marketing, category or product marketing role. . Will have experience of working in a multi-national/global organisation, ideally including previous international assignments. . Will be familiar with the demands of operating in a distributed network, leveraging functional resources and working collaboratively with a large distributed multi-disciplined work force. . Fluent English - written and spoken. Further language skills would be advantageous. . Must be conversant with high-tech product related business environment where time to market is a key differentiator, ideally within the mobile communications sector. . Extensive experience in a customer facing environment, developing and managing relationships. . Results driven - experience of operating successfully in environment where time to market is a key differentiator. . Good business judgement - always thinking about the impact of the business when making decisions. . Strong commercial understanding - able to articulate how the business is evolving and how to enhance product and applications solutions to derive maximum benefit for customers and prospects. . Able to think strategically and tactically - to structure thoughts and ideas and present them in a way that relates to business objectives but also gets into enough detail to ensure they are feasible. . Organised and able to work effectively under pressure with a proven ability to prioritise a variety of different business tasks with effective use of limited resources. .
