If yes, we offer an opportunity to join our team as Global Product Quality Leader (GPQL) for Exhaust After Treatment Systems (EATS) in Heavy Duty Powertrain.

As a Global Product Quality Leader you will hold a strategic and important role belonging to the department Quality and Customer Satisfaction in Gothenburg, Sweden. Our teams have the overall responsibility for initiating all short-term quality improvements and influencing long term projects to deliver the right quality level.
Main Responsibilities:
The mission for a GPQL within EATS is to be part of the team managing the improvement of Exhaust After Treatment components, and you will lead the global work within the issue detection and pre-study areas. In this team you will scan, prioritize, pre-investigate and propose actions to solve field quality issues.
As a GPQL you will also ensure communication on product quality and customer satisfaction within Volvo GTT and to all our stakeholders.
You will be part of a result-oriented team of highly motivated colleagues that wants to make a difference for the end customer. You will achieve this by promptly finding, addressing and resolving customer issues.

Technical skills & Knowledge:
General product knowledge, Disruptive technology and in Product & Systems Diagnostics.
Proficient in system/application knowledge within the areas of responsibility (EATS in this case).
Proficient in relevant Volvo processes, such as DVP, SCQI, PMR, QAG, etc.
Proficient in Customer and Market Knowledge: Market report handling, Market and application understanding within the areas of responsibility (EATS in this case).
Proficient in Systems knowledge: Jira, Argus QR, KOLA, IMPACT, FQA, EDB, VDB.
Proficient within Advanced Data Analytics: Analytic abilities, Data insight, Statistics and applied mathematics, Data Visualization and Storytelling (Power BI, ClickView, BO, LVD, DTC, Weibull).
Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Proficient within Problem Solving Methodologies such as Design Thinking, 5W2H, Root Cause analysis, A3 Methodology, etc.
Qualifications:
BSc.in Engineering
Quality related work experience (Six Sigma, FMEA, 5W2H, Ishikawa, Pareto, 5 Whys, Histogram, etc.)
Experience in working in projects and project management
Proven record of excellent communication and presentation skills, strong English skills.
Work experience within EATS or immediate correlated areas (e.g.: ICE, combustion, system design, etc.) is a merit.
Good knowledge about Volvo Group products.
Good knowledge of heavy-duty Powertrain development.
Proven experience in data analytics.
5+ years of working experience in the field of area is required

For success in this role you have work experience in relevant field and proved and record in communication and presentation skills. You have a “can do” & “owner” mindset, technical interest, great interest in data analytics and are willing to learn more about our products and their application.
