Global Product Specialist

For Product Line Stationary we’re now looking for a Product Specialist – a position with plenty of flexibility and the possibility to influence, working with an experienced team in a global setting.
The Product Lines provide our target customers with complete solutions and drive the development, maintenance and launch of our products and services. We plan, monitor, and steer the performance of our product portfolio providing knowledge and competence in how to best use our solutions.
About the job
Your product and application expertise supports our global initiatives and new solutions. From distance and on-site, you provide advanced support in technical questions to sales units, channel partners and end users – maximizing the benefits derived from our products and services. You build our product recommendations and guiding, in particular digital solutions, to support our Sales and Growth ambitions. You collaborate closely with the Product Managers, giving feedback on and suggestions for the product range, improvements, and development.
The location for this position is flexible close to a Seco Tools office or site, preferably in Europe and travel is a natural part of the role.
Your profile
You have several years' experience in metal cutting and minimum basic product knowledge. Specific experience and knowledge in Thread Turning is beneficial, so are CAD/CAM skills or knowledge about workpiece materials. Practice of working with customers as part of a Sales Process is a further benefit. As we act in a global environment, you need excellent communication skills in English, while knowledge in other languages is a plus.
You’re curious, embrace innovation and strive for solutions and successful business in an agile way, keeping the customer in focus. You show eagerness to learn and perform, driven by your internal motivation and willingness to help and contribute – giving suggestions in a confident way while listening and understanding the customer. You collaborate well in a team yet also trust your skills and expertise to provide support and solutions on your own. You like to be organized and structured in you work.
