Feeding the future We all know milk is naturally good. But nature needs support. When producing quality milk, high demands are put also on what farmers feed their cows. DeLaval is the world leading brand in milking equipment and hygiene products for dairy production. Already DeLaval is one of the biggest suppliers of feeding equipment in the areas of automatic calf feeders, stationary feeding equipment, and in-parlour feeding equipment. To further support our position as quality supplier within Nutrition we have started to build an after market product assortment. That is why we need you - a Nutrition Product Specialist to our Global After Market team. Challenging responsibilities You will play an important role within the Nutrition After Market assortment product management and you will have key account responsibilities towards a number of our suppliers. Your assortment is focused on biological silage inoculants and feed additives. On a global basis you will work closely with our markets to optimise the assortment's market position and its financial return through the assortment life cycle. In-depth nutritional expertise is provided by our suppliers with whom you will co-operate closely. Your main responsibility is the business perspective; project management of new products and maintenance of current assortment; discovering and developing business opportunities. As Product specialist you will provide business support, i.e product training, to DeLaval's sales organisations, and compile business cases. You will also be responsible for quality, and claim handling with a strong focus on minimising costs. Professional profile You see opportunities instead of problems; have good communications' and interpersonal skills, including being a team player. Your organisational and planning skills enable you to run and be accountable for your own projects. Evidently you are interested in developing and driving the after market assortment. Experience of project management and negotiations are also advantageous. And be prepared to travel at least 20 percent of your time. A successful candidate will have a university degree with an Agriculture, Veterinary, Nutritional or Biology profile. A minimum of two years professional work experience is required in a relevant professional field. Good knowledge of, interest or background in animal production is certainly an advantage. The company business language is English.
