Your mission
As the Global Product Support Manager for Drilling Tools Solutions (DTS), you will lead a team of product support specialists who provide top-tier technical support worldwide. You will be responsible for the DTS portfolio, which includes DTH, Rotary, and Raise Boring tools, ensuring they meet the highest standards and deliver on our brand promise. This key role involves working cross-functionally and globally to create consistent processes, enhance knowledge sharing, and drive continuous product improvements.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead and Develop Team: Guide an international team, fostering collaboration and continuous growth.
* Ensure Product Performance: Maintain a database for product benchmarking and analyze drilling data.
* Provide Technical Expertise: Act as the main technical resource for teams and customer centers.
* Drive Training Initiatives: Develop training to maintain technical competence.
* Oversee Warranty Analysis: Review claims and identify trends to enhance products.
* Enhance Communication: Build relationships and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
* Support Product Development: Offer technical feedback during product testing.
* Maintain Documentation: Oversee creation of technical documentation for shared access.
Your profile
We are seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of leadership experience in a global setting, ideally in a similar company, and 10+ years of hands-on experience with drilling technology and industry. A solid technical foundation is essential, with the ability to lead comprehensive root cause analyses and conduct deep technical discussions.
Our ideal candidate is proactive, safety-focused, and motivated by continuous improvement. They demonstrate inclusive leadership, thriving in multicultural environments and respecting diverse perspectives. Problem-solving and innovation come naturally to them, with a data-driven, solution-focused approach. With strong English communication skills and ideally additional language capabilities, they are also a trusted relationship builder who can influence and collaborate with stakeholders effectively.
Location and travel
This position can be located at USA (Garland, Fort Loudon) or in Sweden (Fagersta, Örebro, Stockholm). Travel is required for this role.
