Are you a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager seeking an exciting opportunity to lead the quality assurance efforts in the production of HVDC systems? Look no further! Hitachi Energy Sweden is currently seeking a Production Quality Manager to join our team.
You will be part of the HVDC Quality Management team as well as the Production Management team.
You will drive a quality culture in the production environment in accordance with the Production System, Lean Principles and a “right from me” approach.
Hitachi Energy Sweden is a leading global provider of HVDC solutions, delivering state-of-the-art technology for efficient and sustainable power transmission. As the Production Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our HVDC manufacturing processes.
Your responsibilities:
Lead and manage the production quality team to ensure compliance with established quality standards, procedures, and customer requirements. Responsible for team in Ludvika, Smedjebacken and India.
Drive the continuous improvement of the Production System incl the quality system (QMS) to ensure its effectiveness and adherence to international standards and customer requirements. Implement Lean Principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, R&D and supply chain, to establish and maintain quality assurance, control processes and procedures.
Champion a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement within the production, promoting employee engagement and ownership of quality outcomes.
Provide guidance and support to the team in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures to address quality issues and improve overall product quality.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries, ensuring timely and effective resolution of quality-related concerns.
Collaborate with external auditors and certification bodies to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Your background
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality or a related field.
Proven experience in management, preferably within the energy or power transmission industry.
Preferably you have experience leading a production quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Fluency in English and Swedish is required, both written and spoken
