Your mission
As Program Manager you will work truly cross functional and cross divisional, the interaction will be global.
To enable others to capture, scale-up and accelerate ongoing activities within Epiroc that is focusing on developing value out of information, while also establishing a sustainable extended Information Management strategy that creates prerequisites for Epiroc to lead the industries digital transition. Key tasks/focus is to, together with the stakeholders:
- Map ongoing programs/initiatives with the objective to capture obstacles and opportunities from a short- and long-term horizons perspective.
- Identify present and future requirements driven by the volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous reality and the “Tsunami” of coming reporting requirements we have today and expect in the future.
- Together with IT and other key stakeholders outline a rational for what is possible/right to do and how Epiroc can be more Digital and effective in everything we do.
- Establish a strategy for how to make the “hockey team a wining basketball team” when it comes to our own Digital transformation journey i.e. do we need to add new competences and skills?
- Review present structures, missions, visions etc to identify strengths, gaps and propose a plan for how to reach the dream state within the present Epiroc matrix organization consisting of divisions and councils, to accelerate digital value creation
- Transition from a task force to a winning team.
- Get all cross divisional, cross functional, PC, CC etc stakeholders on board.
All in all, the challenge is to establish and execute a holistic strategy, in transition from a task force to a sustainable winning way of working that ensures that we exceed the customers’ expectations and that meets the group targets of 2030 and beyond, with profitability for us and our customers. The responsibility is to bring digitalization from the present island-based approach, where not invited here is an excuse, to a level where we learn from each other and where everything starts from a best praxis perspective.
The position will report to the VP Innovation & Technology in the Epiroc Technology and Digital division.
Your profile
You probably have a focus on what adds value to our customers, while having a good knowledge level on what is possible to do and a state of mine, to short and long term, find the optimal compromise together with the stakeholders. You have an entrepreneurial state of mind and excel in onboarding people.
You have a “Better Together” mindset with a fundamental believe that we by building a diverse team with the right competence and a learning culture, knowledge and abilities can move mountains!
- You have a knowledge and competence level that enables you to ask the right questions from an analytics, IT and business perspective all the way to what creates the holistic success in the marketplace and excellence in operations.
- You have ability to together with expert state what is possible/optimal to do and to be accountable thereof
- You are a fast learner and you have the ability to create success in different cultures and environments
You have a MSc or a PhD degree within the field of Technology, or similar knowledge gained through work experience.
As our corporate language is English, strong English communication skills both verbal and written are required.
Location and travel
The preferred location of the position is Örebro-Sweden, however other opportunities can be explored deepening on the preferences of the final candidate. Travel, based on business needs.
