WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
We are seeking for a Project Leader who has a strong collaborative mind-set and knows how to communicate, interact, and build trustful relationships. You have a solution-oriented approach and the ability to coordinate, organize and work in a very structured way. We do also believe that you are an influencer with strong interpersonal skills, who get inspired by working together in an everchanging environment. It’s important for you being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered. You are also passionate about finding more efficient ways of working and creating automated processes as you strive to find more digitalised solutions.
To succeed, we believe that you have proven project experience and demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. Preferably, you have a background within IKEA Food (food operations/food safety) and know the ways of working from a store perspective. Knowledge within food operations and/or food safety together with a basic understanding of digital solutions and digital projects would be big advantages in the role. To succeed in this project, we do also think that you have experience of leading in complex environments and a good understanding of IKEA concept, brand and the IKEA ways of working. Together with analytical, organizational, and change management skills you know how to initiate and drive the project and processes forward. Please note that IKEA experience is a requirement for this position.
YOUR RESPONSIBILTIES
Today the IKEA Food Business work manually when it comes to all instore operations and food safety. By developing and implementing a digital solution for temperature monitoring, cleaning and operational procedures, we can secure and standardize data quality and food safety. In that way, we are able to improve our ways of working and consequently also increase the quality and efficiency.
The main deliverables for you as a Project Leader are to test and evaluate the feasibility of food safety and operational management solutions in two selected stores. You will perform trainings and run a full test period of 2-4 months and validate the benefit case. Within the selected countries, you will collaborate with the Store Food managers, Country Food safety and Operations leaders, the local People & Culture and Facility Management. You will also be in contact with Ingka Digital and Local IT. The expected output is to provide fact-based decision, documentation and recommendations for potential next steps. As a project leader, you will be the main contact person for the selected stores, coordinate between the countries, connect with the global organization and make sure that everyone fulfills their part.
The assignment will run until the end of year with possibilities being prolonged. The location of the role could be flexible, but you need to be able to travel at least half of the time.
