Currently we are recruiting for a Global Project Manager within the Wound Care business area at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In this position you will lead cross functional projects within Business Area Wound Care throughout its life cycle and ensure that expected benefits will be realized in line with the business strategy. The position reports to the R&D Director Project Management within Wound Care R&D PMO (or project management office).
Key Accountabilities:
Profound Project methodology skills to ensure efficient set –up and management of projects
Secure that the project is executed to deliver benefits and meeting objectives according to the project plan.
Ensure leadership, team building and conflict resolution behaviors in cross-functional teams in order to assure that each individual can provide maximal contribution to the project.
Ensure project quality, time, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Set up and organize cross functional project teams in order to obtain well-functioning teams that has the working conditions to deliver the required result.
Secure Stakeholder Management for involvement and commitment, communicate progress, flag risks and secure quality in project reporting
Secure Risk management to handle insecurities and remove / mitigate risks
Drive Lesson Learnt and secure knowledge transfer within the organization.
Drive and contribute in continuous improvement activities in order to increase overall project efficiency
Contribute to project portfolio management and in the business planning process with accurate data in project, project portfolio management and quality management systems.
Promote and support project management best practice within the organization
Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience :
Project management expertise – strong knowledge within the Project management tools & methods of field. Must have a track record of driving projects, with knowledge of the Regulatory requirements and standards for Medical devices, e.g. MDD, FDA
Collaboration – Able to influence multiple stakeholders to get things done. Comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrix. Ability to build diverse networks.
Result and business focus – strong business acumen and analytical skills. Focus on action and outcomes.
Team leadership skills – manage team members well, gets the most and best out of team members and other stakeholders; sets and communicates project goals and timelines.
Academic background with Bachelor, Master’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biochemical Engineering or equal
Minimum 5 years’ experience from managing small or mid-size projects.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in highly dynamic environment delivering new products, technologies and/or services.
Fluency in English, written and spoken
