We are looking for a global Project Manager & Communications Specialist to join H&M Group Communications at Stockholm Head Office. This is an opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in managing, leading, and executing corporate communication projects and activities with omnichannel approach for internal and external target groups, in a fast-paced environment. You work cross-functionally and according to agile or other project management methodologies to ensure successful deliveries and constant learning and improvements. As a Project Manager & Communications Specialist you will belong to the Project Management team within H&M Group Communications. Group Communications is a core part of the H&M Group and currently consists of 49 people, and plays a key role in how our customers, colleagues, media, investors and other stakeholders perceive us. We are a driving force in building and protecting our brands, whilst telling the story of the journey we are on. H&M Group Communications contribute to our business direction with relevant and engaging communication, through an insight-driven mindset, by always keeping our customers, colleagues and business at heart. Job Description
As a Project Manager & Communications Specialist you will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing both proactive and reactive projects according to the company's goals and a common project management methodology. This includes ensuring that all project deliverables are completed efficiently and effectively, while also managing inter-dependencies between projects to ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of risks and issues.
The project manager will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators, ensuring that all projects are meeting their targets and contributing to the company's overall success. Additionally, they will work to promote cross-functional collaboration within H&M Group functions, brands, and businesses, encouraging co-creation across the organization.
You will also:
Give communications advice and counselling within the department and across group functions and brands.
Be responsible for budget and performance follow up for projects you lead.
As part of H&M Group Communications and the project management team, contribute to the overall goals of the team and department.
Qualifications
In addition to matching the personal profile, we seek the following qualifications:
Higher education in communication, journalism and/or marketing (or equivalent).
Extensive working experience with project management and communication.
Experience of developing and follow-up KPIs for multi-channel communication.
Experience of working with data and insights-driven communication.
Experience from agile working processes and teams is considered favourable.
Advanced project management skills.
Strategic and experienced communicator with the ability to collaborate smoothly across teams and functions.
Great communication and writing skills, fluent in English, both spoken and in writing.
We believe that you have a positive and non-prestigious attitude and always strive for improvements. You are structured and good at prioritising and you work well under stressful conditions. You have a good sense for a high service level and teamwork but are also able to work independently. You also have a willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly. Self-leadership is crucial.
