Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
We are looking for a dedicated, senior project manager to lead global and cross functional teams involving our bodybuilder partners, Scania business units and Scania R&D.
The aim is to set the conditions to drive the shift towards sustainable transport solutions together with our Bus builder partners, all with the focus on our new technologies connected, electrified and autonomous vehicles.
Your role
You will together with the management team support the organisation through exciting times where new technology meets new customer demands, new ways of working meets a modern agile leadership style, all to take place in this “new normal situation”.
As a senior project manager you are expected to strongly contribute to the bus development organisation. You are responsible for manage projects to drive the shift and in parallel implement a safe, efficient and sustainable new way of working. You work closely together with internal and external partners for the new technologies.

You are a natural and proven leader with strong leadership skills. You have a lot of enthusiasm and the ability to see people and their capabilities. To succeed in this position, you are good at building strong teams and facilitate cross-functional work. You are communicative, show drive and passion. You are energized by challenges. “Outside the box” is not strange or uncomfortable to you.
Expectation on the Global project manager role:
• Highly motivated by the mission and challenges
• Experience in driving change initiative and programs in an international environment.
• English is a demand
• Experience in conducting technical assignments in a structured way
Most likely you have a formal degree in engineering or the equivalent experience. In addition, you are expected to have at least 5 years’ experience from working with technical products and in leadership roles.
