We’re now looking for a driven and technically skilled Global Project Manager for Digital Methods and Systems to join our Production Technology department for Solid Round Tools.
We’re responsible for driving strategic step changes in production such as development and industrialization of new production technology and digital methods and systems – with the aim to raise the bar of entry for competition and improve our competitiveness. We support the organization with automation solutions, processes and methods improvements to increase efficiency. We have several global production units that produce high performance tools, requiring state-of-the-art manufacturing technology.

What you do?
You’re the owner and creator of our digital portfolio and in cooperation with different functions in our organization, you aim to ensure continuous improvement globally. You contribute to make this happen by leading and driving global projects and initiatives, ensuring efficient collaborations, carrying out best practices and implementing new ways of working. By evaluating alternatives from a business, cost and service perspective, you propose and carry out needs and decisions regarding global investments and projects. Along with this, you have an operational responsibility for the execution of our company’s strategy, ensuring alignment between the different development plans and our long-term strategy, as well as providing support in the continuous development of their operations. As a member of other global project groups in your areas, you act as our ambassador and support in various ad hoc activities, studies and initiatives.
The location for this position is flexible but preferably in or near one of our production units. Global travel is included in your job.
Your background and personality
We’re looking for someone with solid experience from production, engineering, IT, R&D or logistics and a few years’ experience in driving projects in a global business environment. You have knowledge in system development, automation and integration and machine connectivity. You background include working with Industry 4.0, Big Data and Predicted Analytics, Digital OEE systems or Design Automation of production processes through digital solutions using CAD/CAM/CAPP. You combine this knowledge with a genuine interest for finding the essence in the data and translating it into actions and possibilities. Experience from manufacturing including machine evaluation and robotic automations for equipment’s is beneficial. Acting on a truly global stage, you communicate effortlessly in English.
