We’re now looking for a driven and technically skilled Global Project Manager for Methods and Process to join our Production Technology department for Solid Round Tools.


About the department
We’re responsible for driving strategic step changes in production such as development and industrialization of new production technologies and digital methods and systems – with the aim to raise the bar of entry for competition and improve our competitiveness. We support the organization with automation solutions, processes and methods improvements to increase efficiency. We have several global production units that produce high performance tools, requiring state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. What do you do?
As a member of the global Production Technology team for SRT you support the organization with step changes to improve production efficiency, quality and EHS by driving global projects to improve processes and methods and increase the level of automation where the final vision is lights out production. You play an important role in investments of new production technology at our Production units safeguarding the demands for our future Production Technology roadmap. Development and implementation of new production technology and process in close cooperation with R&D, suppliers and partners is also an important part of your daily work.
As a member of other global project groups in your areas, you act as our ambassador and support in various activities, studies, and initiatives. The location for this position is flexible but preferably in or near one of our production units or Solid Round Tools R&D offices. Global travel is included in your job.


Your profile
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in production, engineering or R&D and a few years' experience in driving projects in a global business environment. Knowledge in system development, machine automation and integration are an advantage. Your background includes working with new equipment and suppliers’ evaluation, methods and process transformation and process benchmark. You combine this knowledge with a genuine interest in support production process innovation and improvement translating it into actions and possibilities. Acting on a global stage, you communicate effortlessly in English, both written and verbally.
