Global Project Managers - Technology

Within Sandvik Mining and Construction Supply the Technology function is responsible for manufacturing technologies, investments approval and follow-up.We give technical support regarding manufacturing processes, developing global manufacturing standards and give quality assurance of manufacturing processes and products.We are currently in the process of hiring two persons to expand the function.For the right person there will be good possibilities for future career development.Key performance areas Your role will be concentrated on leading and supporting global projects at Sandvik Mining and Construction Supply level.This includes global responsibility for technology solutions for investment, together with Quality Assurance and support in relation to start-up or when transferring products within Sandvik Mining and Construction Supply production units.Another assignment is also to participate in R&D projects during development of new products.Your profile The qualified candidate possesses a technical degree from university or has a similar level of qualifications.We expect that you have extensive experience from manufacturing engineering.It is beneficial if you have experience from NC-programming and knowledge of modern machines and machining.To fulfill these challenging tasks it is essential that you have good communication skills and speak English fluently.You are result oriented and open minded with the ability to motivate people in a global network.We strive for a work environment with equal opportunities and therefore gladly welcome female applicants.Annual sales 2007 amounted to about SEK 33,100 M, with approximately 15,200 employees.
