The mission of Supply Chain Excellence is to drive the development of supply chain strategy, deploy best practices within global supply chain operations, and to define and implement policies, processes, & standards. As of October 2022, Epiroc Supply Chain's Project Management Organization (PMO) is a part of our department, rebranded as the new Global Project & Performance team.
Your mission
The Global Project & Performance Manager is a new, senior position. The role includes frequent collaboration with collegues globally. You are responsible for developing ways-of-working for project management and performance development. You will coach and lead a team of project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. You will also coach and lead a team of global performance specialists, to ensure turnarounds and upskilling is successful.
Another important part of this position is to apply the Epiroc Change Management process/methodology and secure change adoption. You will work closely with our Regional organizations, to ensure your team's support activities and projects translate into concrete operational improvements for Epiroc's business.
Your profile
To succeed in this role, we think you have a degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related subject and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a supply chain manager. You have documented experience in driving supply chain improvement initiatives, you have also worked with project management. It’s a plus, but not a requirement, if you have a "Toyota Way/TPS" approach and experience.
To enjoy the work as Global Project & Performance Manager, you have a passion for guiding others to success. You are a natural leader in supply chain management. Throughout your career, you didn't simply follow routines and processes. You initiated and successfully closed projects that enabled leaps in performance and raised the bar for how people worked.
Location & travel
One of these positions is located in Sweden, preferably in Örebro or Fagersta, and one in the US, Texas (Garland/Allen). Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally is required.
