TCO Development’s main office is situated in Stockholm and the company has a regional presence in Asia and North America.

Arbetsuppgifter
Your role as Project Manager will be to build and strengthen the TCO Certified brand in the global marketplace and grow engagement in sustainability issues connected to IT products. Your responsibility will be to increase the awareness of the certification and to make the TCO Certified brand even more widely recognised and established.

You will be working with various international stakeholders and networks, including opinion leaders, purchasers and members of the IT industry and interest organizations. You will have the opportunity to develop new strategies and long-term global collaborations.

The role entails responsibility for global public relations/press work, which includes working with existing and your own networks as well as agencies, and using other relevant channels to establish TCO Certified in new markets. The position also involves producing descriptive copy for reports, news items and targeted mailings. There are excellent opportunities to shape and evolve the role and we are therefore looking for someone who wants to make a real difference!

The role will require some travel, mostly within Europe, but travel to the USA/Asia can also be expected.

Utbildning/erfarenhet
We seek a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience within a similar role who has worked with brand development and creation of strategic partnerships. You should have sound knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues as well as experience of working with public relations or communications. You’re expected to be fluent in English, both spoken and written (preferably native speaker), have the ability to express yourself effectively in writing, and also have a good level of spoken Swedish. Proficiency in other languages, especially German, are highly merited. A degree in media/communications or engineering as well as experience in the private and public sector is desirable.

You have project management and report writing ability and, experience of working with certifications/environmental labelling programs or similar complex products. Experience from CSR work in the electronics or apparel industries is a plus.

You are a strongly-motivated, self-managing and solution-focused person with a deep interest in and commitment to social issues and that you are driven by wanting to make a difference.
