Global R&D Business Controller

Food Preservation R&D is under the journey of major transformation to improve R&D efficiency and innovation capability. R&D Finance planning and reporting structure, way of working need to be transformed as well to keep the same pace with business. Global R&D Business Controller is a key role to support R&D journey and to drive Finance related change

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITES
Drive Food Pres R&D StraPlan and BU / EA cycle and deliver integrated Food Pres. R&D spend full view
- Design Food Pres. R&D StraPlan / BU timeline and key activities in the way to
a) Meet group overall timeline and delivery requirement
b) Set up the data requirement and reporting structure in the reasonable granularity balance the need of transparency and simplification
- Provide clear instructions / guidance / templates to R&D functions
- Facilitate StraPlan / BU internal reviews as well as reviews with Business Area
Keep regular track and analysis on R&D related KPIs; Deep dive into performance deteriorations; propose / initiate correctness actions accordingly
Enhance project controlling activities
Provide global guidance to BA R&D controllers; Ensure global integrated view on R&D activities
Challenge status-quo processes with respect to standardization, automation and 80/20 rule:


QUALIFICATIONS
· Proved track record on R&D controlling
· Solidate experiences on driving planning and reporting cycle
· Sense of urgency
· Capability to understand big pictures when drive R&D for actions / process improvements but also be able to dig into details to find root causes
· Strong business partner mindset
· Good communication skills and cross functional collaboration skills
· Academic degree in Finance / business or similar
· Experience in SAP will be a plus
· Excellence in MS Office suite (especially Excel),
· Fluence in English
