Sandvik Coromant are now looking for a Global Reporting Specialist to support the reporting and analytical needs of our Sales organization. Key performance areas
In this position, your general responsibilities include:
Creating, distributing, and maintaining business information
Understanding and managing the requirements and demands within the area in close collaboration with your colleagues
Developing reports and providing self-service BI where required
Coordinating the execution of the back-end activities to ensure data availability with internal and external colleagues
You find ways to increase business value by introducing efficient solutions to enable the organization to perform qualitative analysis, retrieve insights, as well as to support the process of making informed and fact-based decisions. You accomplish this by partnering with the business in identifying, analyzing, and responding to business opportunities. You easily collaborate with your team colleagues and take responsibility for actions needed to achieve the desired outcome.
The location for this position is flexible, but ideally within Europe where most stakeholders are. Locations outside of Europe will be considered depending on the candidate’s profile and experience.
Your background and profile
We’re looking for someone who holds a degree in Economics, IT, Statistics, Engineering or Mathematics with a few years of experience in data analysis, reporting, and BI. Since we operate in a global environment, you need to be proficient in written and verbal English.
Very good understanding of sales processes and concepts
Knowledge of Dynamics CRM and SAP sales processes is a big advantage
Very experienced in Power BI and associated coding solutions (Power Query, M and DAX)
Experience in data modeling
Good general understanding of relational databases such as SQL and ORACLE and their respective languages, data cubes and analysis services,
Knowledge in services, such as Power Automate, for creating and maintaining automated workflows
Experience with DataBricks and/or Azure Synapse service is a plus as well as familiarity with obtaining data via SAP Business Warehouse and Azure.
Experience with demand management processes is a plus
