Lorentzen&Wettre is a unit within Process Industries and we are the global market leader in quality testing and process measurement instruments for the Pulp and Paper industry. Our operations are located in Kista, Sweden, where we are developing, designing and manufacturing instruments as well as heading sales and service operations in local units around the world. Our customers are pulp and paper producers all over the world and we are regarded as a partner for them in quality control for more than 100 years. Our products are built on advanced measurement technology, mechanical and electrical design as well as embedded and internet connected software. We are a small organization of about 80 employees in Kista which allows us to act as a highly committed team focused on the importance of our business. In our vision we are helping our customers to improve their operations with the help of our products, digital applications and services.
As a Global Sales and Marketing Manager you will take a key position in the global L&W business organization and you will be the main driver for our ambitious growth strategy. To be successful in the role, you will interact with our own sales organization but also with ABB country organizations and external sales channels around the world, as well as direct customer contacts. The position will be reporting to the Lorentzen&Wettre Business Manager and is part of the management team. You will have a team of regional sales managers reporting to you. You will also have a team of direct sales people for the Nordic market, product managers and order handling team. In this role you need to set clear targets and challenge others to achieve these targets, delegate authority and mandate to the team to achieve their targets, support and coach team members to develop in their sales role.

Your responsibilities
Develop regional sales strategies and to set growth targets for these regions, to coach and follow up sales teams to execute on these strategies.
Find the best sales channels and business models to improve penetration and competitive situation in all markets. Manage governance around sales channels.
Operational sales activities around managing the opportunity pipeline, sales tactics and forecasting.
Together with the product management team develop product portfolio strategies to support sales targets and that product information and marketing material is available to support sales team.
Ensure that we support the sales team with sales training, sales events and an infrastructure of price lists, bid&proposal templates, online product information, etc.
Together with the order team ensure that customers are served with efficient order handling, order information and ontime deliveries.
As part of the management team participate in daily operations of the business and in the optimization of our internal processes to make us more efficient.
Your background
University degree or other relevant business/technical education.
Experience from sales to industry customers.
You have great interpersonal skills, you are highly collaborative and used to managing uncertainty in complex issues and differing views.
You are forward-thinking and focused to results.
You understand how new technologies can be applied by the industry and what future digital services can strengthen the ABB position.
You have good social capabilities and are ready to manage successfully in various business cultures.
Experience from Pulp&Paper industry, is nice to have.
Management or leadership experience, is a benefit.
English is a must, Swedish is a merit and German, French, Spanish or other global language comes as beneficial.
