Vagabond’s design studio, which also includes a full-size prototype production workshop, is located at the global headquarters in Varberg, Sweden. Our production is sourced in-house, and our products are sold in more than 40 markets worldwide, including Scandinavia, Germany, UK and USA. Our Global Sales Director for many years is moving on to new challenges, and we are looking for YOU who would be thrilled to take on this role and move further, manifesting a global designer brand for a customer who cares about quality, style and a sustainable way of life.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be responsible for the Sales Department running the sales operations towards the wholesale business on multiple markets, our Vagabond Shoemakers Concept Stores, and Shop in Shops. You will focus on driving quality sales actions, supported by team leaders responsible for different sales areas. You will collaborate closely with several of our in-house functions. Our mindset is long-term customer relations aiming for mutual understanding and the best activities to support and follow the product from the design idea to the end-user and its final destination.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are business oriented and appreciate a dynamic and international working environment where ongoing development and market adaptation are a part of the game. In your leadership, you combine structure with responsiveness and find it easy to engage and involve your co-workers. Furthermore, your strategic skills and business understanding are high while also being hands-on and action- oriented. As a person, we think you are a bit of an entrepreneur, open-minded, curious and used to thinking in new ways.
Experiences
•
Relevant experience in sales and brand positioning in an international environment
•
Analytic with a great understanding of the business, the process and the product calculation
•
Relevant experience in contract and agreement negotiations
•
A clear and committed leader
•
Fluent in Swedish and English. Further language skills are an advantage
Other information
The position is full-time, with starting date as soon as possible. The location is at the head office in Varberg, a 5 minute walk from the train station.
